Il vero protagonista di questo outfit non è ,come succede solitamente,l'abito ma l'accessorio.
L'accessorio spesso passa in secondo piano ma senza la sua fondamentale presenza nessun buon look che si rispetti avrebbe il giusto valore.
Miss Isis è una vera maestra in fatto di originalità e creatività.
Dalla sua inventiva nascono il colletto ed il bracciale che ho scelto per questo outfit.
Un verde vivo ed un sapore etnico nella scelta della stoffa hanno reso un semplice abitino bianco in sangallo qualcosa di davvero unico e speciale.
Dietro Miss Isis si nasconde Isabelle Morneau,che partendo dal puro divertimento nel creare gioielli arriva ad un progetto reale e concreto di jewerly design dove semplicità ed eleganza sono i punti di forza per rappresentare l'universo femminile.

Happy B-day to me!

Nascere ad Agosto non è sempre una fortuna.Certo hai il sole,le temperature calde,le lunghe giornate ma scovare,ad esempio,una pasticceria o un laboratorio specializzato che esaudisca un tuo piccolo desiderio, anche in una città grande come Roma, diventa un impresa titanica.

A quanto pare,però,alla fine,nulla è impossibile.Con le mie estenuati ricerche su Internet sono riuscita a trovare le ingegnose mani di Laura Manca de La Fabbrica Delle Torte che in 2 giorni è riuscita ad accontentarmi preparando una simpatica american cake con l'icona di Instagram con annesso #dressingandtoppings e dei cupcakes con baci e moustache.

Sotto la copertura di pasta di zucchero mi aspettava Pan di Spagna con crema chantilly e gocce di cioccolato.Inutile dirvi che è sparita in pochissimo tempo.

Dunque un altro anno che passa,io che,già grande,lo divento ancora di più.

Tante sono state le soddisfazioni,tanti sono i pensieri e tanti sono e saranno i desideri per il futuro.

Divento sempre un pò musona e seriosa in occasioni del genere.

Festeggiare il proprio compleanno è un pò come fare un resoconto con se stessi ...su come è andata finora e su che direzione vorresti dare alla tua vita.

Poi,però,trascinata e distratta dalle persone che ho accanto,riesco sempre a lasciarmi andare.Ho trascorso una splendida giornata ed i colori di queste foto spero riescano a trasferirvi almeno un pò della mia felicità.

Born in August is not always good. Sure... you've got the sun, warm temperatures, long days but find, for example, a pastry or a specialized laboratory that will grant you a single wish, even in a big city like Rome, it becomes really hard. But, in the end, nothing is impossible. Exhausted with my research on the Internet I found the ingenious hands of Laura Manca de La Fabbrica Delle Torte and in 2 days she has managed to prepare a nice cake with Instagram icon with attached # dressingandtoppings and cupcakes with kisses and mustache. Under the cover of sugar paste was waiting for me a whipped cream and drops of cioccolato. So another year passes. There have been many rewards, there are so many thoughts and so many are and will be the desires for the future. I always get a bit sulky and earnest on such occasions. Celebrate your birthday is a bit like making a report to yourself ... how is going so far and what direction you want to give your life. Retro Polka Dots with Not Your Dolls

Tutti,credo,almeno una volta nella vita, abbiamo pensato di voler avere la possibilità di vivere in un epoca passata per capirne gli aspetti e provarne le sensazioni, ed è proprio quello che mi è successo con questo splendido abitino a pois.

Indossarlo mi ha catapultato in uno spensierato periodo,quello a cavallo tra i fine anni 50 e gli inizi 60. Periodo che tanto adoro e che mi ha fatto sentire come in uno di quei vecchi film in bianco e nero girati in una Roma deserta in pieno Agosto. 
Il gusto retró e la freschezza di un cotone leggero,il dettaglio di una morbida cintina in vita ed i piccoli pois rosa cipria sono protagonisti di questo nuovo outfit grazie a Not Your Dolls, brand romano della giovane designer Paola Ravanelli che ritengo di notevole talento e con cui ho già collaborato in passato(vedi post QUI e QUI!).
Per completare il look ho scelto di abbinare degli orecchini a tombolo in tinta con i pois dell'abito ,sempre Not Your Dolls e ,per dare un piccolo tocco futuristico,una double triangle necklace di Plastico Shock, realizzata interamente in plexiglass.
Lo star seduta sull'imponente scalinata del Colosseo Quadrato con i miei grossi occhiali neri mi ha regalato la sfrontatezza di una signorina d'altri tempi  che guarda il mondo dall'alto, fiera e sicura di sè.

A time that I adore so much and that made me feel like in one of those old black and white film shot in a deserted Rome in August. The retro flavor and the freshness of a light cotton, the detail of a soft belt at the waist and small powder pink polka dots are the protagonists of this new outfit thanks to Not Your Dolls, Roman brand of the young designer Paola Radishes that I think of considerable talent and with whom I have already worked in the past (see post HERE and HERE). To complete the look I chose to pair of earrings to match the polka dot, always Not Your Dolls and, to give a little futuristic touch, a double triangle necklace of Plastic Shock, made ​​entirely of plexiglass. The star sitting on the grand staircase of the Colosseo Quadrato with my thick glasses blacks gave me the boldness of a young lady of yesteryear that looks at the world from above, proud and confident.
