Sunday Sixim

Maddai?!Il sole?!..Sembra quasi un evento straordinario in questa gelida e anomala primavera di inizio Giugno che non vuole proprio saperne di fare posto a temperature più miti.
Unica eccezione è stata la scorsa domenica dove non mi sono lasciata sfuggire l'occasione di indossare le deliziose creazioni Sixim Lab. Abiti comodi e di grande effetto per una giornata di completo relax fatta di brunch con fidanzato e amici cari.
Sixim Lab prende vita da Massimo Parisi e Annalia de Falco, due giovani designer laureati alla Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli che decidono di approfondire la propria creatività in un’ attività comune.
Inizialmente finalizzato alla realizzazione di t-shirt handmade, il progetto si espande e si concretizza sotto il nome di Conjunto Creativo, un laboratorio di idee dove la tecnologia è affiancata alla manualità ed alle peculiarità dei prodotti realizzati.

Il loro lavoro nasce dall’idea di creare giocando: di non credere all’esistenza di una netta separazione fra reale e irreale.

       "Ci divertiamo a mescolare tessuti, colori, materiali e tecnologie, unire l'elemento grafico con l'elemento     reale, riproponendoci di creare una continuazione diretta fra ciò che c'è, ed è tangibile e ciò che invece non c'è, è immaginato, disegnato."

Alcune delle tecniche più utilizzate per la produzione sono la serigrafia, il batik, la colorazione a mano su tessuto, lo shibori. Tutte applicate su tessuti italiani di ottima qualità.

Nel mio outfit Sixim indosso una T-shirt con stampa serigrafica a mano e acquerellata con colori per stoffa. Ha lo scollo largo e il modello è a campana con il retro più lungo.L'ho abbinata ad un leggins in jeans elasticizzato con stampa a pois.

All applied on top quality Italian fabrics. In my Sixim outfit i'm wearing a T-shirt with screen printing by hand with watercolor and fabric colors. It has the wide neckline and the pattern is bell-shaped with the back longer. White*T-Shirt at Romics 2013

Non potevo scegliere occasione migliore per indossare la mia White*T-Shirt se non l'edizione primaverile del Romics,famoso festival romano del fumetto,dell'animazione e dei games.

Ho scelto questa tee non solo per l'ovvia assonanza tematica tra il tema del festival e la fantasia scelta dai designer di White*T-Shirt ma anche perchè il suo approccio sopra le righe riusciva a smorzare i toni del mio outfit rendendolo perfetto anche per un evento diurno.

White*T-Shirt è riuscita a rendere originale un personaggio semplice come Omino Pan di Zenzero,famoso per il film d'animazione Shrek,presentandolo in varie versioni:da Batman a Minnie passando per Catwoman.

Non ho indossato un cosplay per questa edizione del Romics ma Gingerbread Man ha fatto più che degnamente le mie veci.

I chose this tee not only for the obvious thematic similarity between the theme of the festival and the pattern chosen by the designer of White T-Shirt * but also because his approach over the top could tone down my outfit making it perfect for the event.

White*T-Shirt has managed to make an original character as simple as Gingerbread Man, famous for the animated film Shrek, by presenting him in different versions: from Batman to Minnie passing through Catwoman.

I have not worn a cosplay for this year's Romics but Gingerbread Man has done more than worthy in my stead.
