Domenica 25 novembre sono andata a fare una capatina al famoso urban market sito nel rione Monti a Roma: il Mercatomonti. Il mercato è sempre stato un punto di riferimento per l'acquisto di capi vintage o di accessori particolari realizzati da designer poco conosciuti ma quello che mi ha convinto ad andare è stata la presenza di un vasto stand dedicato a I Like to Kilo. I Like to Kilo offre la possibilità di acquistare i capi "al Kg", mi spiego meglio, 1 Kg di abiti (qualunque essi siano) costa 15€. Una volta scelti i vestiti vengono pesati con una bilancia extralarge e stabilito l'importo in base al peso. Di abiti interessanti ce ne erano ma sfortunatamente non della mia taglia il che mi ha lasciato con un pugno di mosche subito sostituito da uno splendido maglioncino bianco con fiocco e teschi acquistato all'ultimo secondo prima di andare via che indosserò in uno dei prossimi outfit!
Per questa passeggiata nel centro della capitale ho scelto un vestitino blu disegnato Pimkie, delle calze avorio con parigine Calzedonia e un giacchetto jeans Bershka. Come scarpe ho scelto un paio di derby marroni Pull&Bear mentre per gli accessori una shopping bag marrone Segue, degli occhiali Six, un anello oro con pietra marrone H&M e un bracciale Promod.
Tra tutti gli stand che ho visitato vi consiglio alcuni brand/designer che mi hanno particolarmente colpito:

Numi - Brand che offre numerosi accessori fatti interamente a mano
Dario Albertini - Eccentrico designer dai prodotti inusuali e di ottima fattura
Plexi Shock - Gioielli handmade realizzati in plexiglass
Saraeluka - Un altro interessante brand di gioielli handmade
The Park Diy - Realizza borse e T-shirt fatte a mano (particolarmente interessanti gli iPad case)
Sunday, November 25th I went to pay a visit to the famous urban market in Rome: Mercatomonti. The market has always been a reference point for the purchase of vintage clothes or accessories made by little-known designer but what convinced me to go was the presence of a large booth dedicated to "I Like to Kilo". "I Like to Kilo" offers the opportunity to purchase 1 kg of clothes (whatever they are) at € 15. Once you have chosen the clothes are weighed with a Oversized balance and determined the price based on the weight. Clothes there were interesting but unfortunately not in my size which left me with a handful of flies immediately replaced by a beautiful white sweater with bow and skulls purchased at the last second before leaving that wear in an upcoming outfit!
For this walk in the center of the city I chose a blue dress designed Pimkie, ivory socks with Parisian Calzedonia, jacket jeans Bershka. I choose a pair of brown derby shoes Pull & Bear, as accessories a brown shopping bag, sunglasses Six, a gold ring with brown stone H&M and a bracelet Promod.
