Crazy for Tartan Style

Alzi la mano chi ha avuto,almeno una volta,nella sua vita, una gonnellina a pieghe in classico tessuto scozzese!!

Quasi riesco a vedere tutte le vostre braccia in aria!! Beh,magari sarà un pò difficile ritrovarla o farvi rientrare nella gonna di quando avevate 10 anni ma forse se scavate bene nel vostro armadio proprio laggiù in fondo,in quell'angolo buio e tristissimo, forse qualcosa che assomigli ad una gonna scozzese la ritroverete senz'altro..perchè la regola del "Non si butta via nulla" vale sempre..in qualche modo.

Dopo averla ripescata datele nuova vita ed indossatela perchè per i prossimi sei mesi non vedrete in giro altro che check scozzese.

Ebbene si ,il Tartan si appresta ad essere uno dei tormentoni di questo autunno/inverno che stiamo per affrontare.Dalle passerelle, gli stilisti, ce l'hanno riproposto in tutti i modi ed in tutte le salse ma cercando di rivalutarlo dandogli un diverso significato che non sia per forza quello di accostarlo al Natale, al Brith Style da college o al grunge di Kurt Cobain ;quest'ultimo poi centra davvero poco, visto che, musicalmente parlando, già tempo prima il Tartan era presente nei kilt e camicioni di  Axl Rose, leader dei Guns'n'Roses.

Il celebre tessuto a quadri,ottenuto con fili di colori diversi che si ripetono con uno schema definito,uguale sia nell'ordito che nella trama, richiede attenzione nell'essere abbinato.

Solitamente è consigliabile indossarlo con una base che segua il main color del check e che quindi ne esalti le caratteristiche oppure,azzardando,si possono sovrapporre varie tipologie di tartan che magari hanno lo stesso colore di base ma che si differenziano per gradazione.

Pronte a creare i vostri outfits in tartan? Magari  le famiglie dei radicati clan scozzesi,dalle loro highland,storceranno un pò il naso ..voi sorrideteci su e mettete a palla un disco dei Guns'n'Roses.

Hands up who has had at least once in his life, a pleated skirt in classic plaid! I can almost see all your arms in the air! Well, maybe it will be a little difficult to find it or make you fall into the skirt when you were 10 years but maybe if you dig into your own closet down there, in that dark, maybe something that looks like a plaid skirt end up the seam 'other .. because the rule of "Do not throw anything away". After give it new life and wear it because for the next six months you will not see anything but tartan. Yes, the Tartan is going to be one of the biggest hits of this fall / winter. Tre eventi eccezionali caratterizzano questo post: il primo vero assaggio di estate, l'occasione di poter essere truccata e acconciata dalla professionista Maria Laura Calandro e l'onore di poter indossare un capo disegnato e realizzato dal promettente brand scozzese Elkbi.

Nella splendida cornice del laghetto del tempio di Esculapio a Villa Borghese Maria Laura, la stessa truccatrice che si è occupata del make up durante lo spot per FoxTv a cui ho partecipato (POST QUI), mostra tutte le sue eccezionali capacità di makeup artist creando una splendida acconciatura e un trucco che riesce a valorizzare il mio outfit creando un'armonia cromatica perfetta.
Maria Laura Calandro è una makeup artist a tutto tondo che vanta esperienze di rilievo nel campo della moda, del cinema, dei videoclip musicali e del teatro e che ha saputo interpretare nel migliore dei modi la confusa idea che avevo in testa.

Una volta terminato trucco e parrucco sono finalmente pronta per lo shooting che ha come protagonista la splendida gonna marchiata Elkbi.
Una gonna lunga fin sotto al ginocchio finemente realizzata a mano con stampe e colori che ricordano uno stile hippie ma corretto e rivisto dalle scozzesi menti creative dei designer di Elkbi.
I talentuosi designer dietro questo brand si definiscono dei Craft Brewers del mondo della moda e il loro deisgn fortemente "scozzese" si mostra nei loro capi tutti rigorosamente stampati e tinti a mano.

Three exceptional events characterize this post: the first real taste of summer, the opportunity to be able to be made up by  Maria Laura Calandro and the honor of wearing a garment designed and made by the Scottish brand Elkbi. 

In the splendid setting of the pond of the temple of Aesculapius in Villa Borghese Maria Laura, the same make-up artist who worked on the make-up during the commercial for FoxTV (POST HERE), shows all of its outstanding ability to create a beautiful hairstyle and make-up that can enhance my outfit creating a perfect harmony of colors.
Maria Laura Calandro is a make-up artist that has relevant experience in the field of fashion, film, video clips and theater that has been able to interpret in the best way the confused idea in my head.

Once finished make-up and wigs i was finally ready for the shoot that features the beautiful skirt marked Elkbi.
A long skirt below the knee hand crafted with prints and colors with a reminiscent of a hippie style but corrected and revised by the Scottish creative minds of the Elkbi designers.
The talented designers behind this brand define them the Craft Brewers of the fashion market and their design strongly "Scottish" shows up in their garments all hand screen printed and hand dyed.
