Dopo pranzi e cene natalizie, incontri con i parenti, serate passate a ballare fino a tardi sui tacchi con indosso abiti scintillanti l'unico pensiero va alla comodità.

Prendersi i primi giorni del nuovo anno per stare "con i piedi a terra" e per dedicarsi al totale relax non è mai stato così importante e se ad alcune di noi è passato per la testa di meritarsi una vacanza dopo il tram tram natalizio ma di non averne proprio l'opportunità(ahimè),  almeno accontentiamoci di un outfit super comodo che ci agevoli nella lenta ripresa mantenendo il sorriso.

Un chiodo, un maglione morbido ed ampio, dei leggins e dei boots possono aiutarci a recuperare le nostre abitudini quotidiane nel modo giusto; importanza ai dettagli che in questo caso sono affidati allo spiritoso cappello fatto a mano ed alla borsa neon ideale per spiccare.

Trovo che questo genere di look sia adatto anche ad un atteso evento che i prossimi giorni interesserà tutte noi fashion victims ...l'inizio dei saldi.

Destrezza e velocità nei movimenti, per accaparrassi prima di tutte ciò che ci interessa e che agogniamo da mesi, fanno da padrona in occasioni del genere; quindi ampio spazio ad outfits sportivi e easy.

1 anno, quello appena terminato, che mi ha lasciato tanto, passa il testimone ad uno tutto nuovo di zecca, e profumato come un dolce appena sfornato sembra non veder l'ora di essere assaggiato.

Non ho progetti particolari per i prossimi mesi(e forse è un bene); continuare a farmi conoscere attraverso il mio armadio aperto è ciò che importa.Trasportarvi nel mio mondo è una gioia costante e rendermi conto giorno dopo giorno di quanto questo piccolo spazio stia crescendo non può che farmi felice.

Un 2014 intenso è quello che mi aspetto, fatto di liete sorprese, di inaspettate coincidenze e di sfavillanti novità che aiutino a riempire le pagine bianche di questo spazio virtuale per i prossimi 364 giorni.

1 year, that just ended, which left me a lot, passes the baton to an all brand new one, that smelling like a freshly baked cake does not seem to see the time to be tasted.

A Christmas Shopping Experience feat.Mercato Monti

Chi vive a Roma o è appassionato di abbigliamento vintage avrà sicuramente sentito parlare del Mercato Monti che già da un po' di anni si occupa della ricerca di prodotti di qualità e della promozione di giovani talenti nostrani con appuntamenti periodici durante il weekend nel rinomanto Rione Monti.

Quest'anno per la loro Christmas Edition hanno scelto di trasferirsi in una location davvero da favola: il Radisson Blu es. Hotel.

Per una giornata così speciale sono stata invitata dalla gentilissima e simpatica Valentina di DéjàVu Vintagepedia ad indossare, per uno shooting del tutto particolare, i suoi gioielli ed accessori vintage.

Grazie a Valentina ho avuto modo di conoscere anche Alessandro Gruttadauria e Melissa Piro di Umamivintage; con loro ho scelto abiti e scarpe per il mio shooting in pieno stile vintage .

Per il primo look è stato amore a prima vista per l'abito dal taglio sartoriale in seta blu con fiori e piccoli dettagli in pizzo Anni'40.

Per i gioielli ho scelto degli orecchini  corolla a clip americani anni '40, una collana 3 fili di catene made in France anni '60 ed un bracciale con orologio a scomparsa francese anni  '40. Per un attimo ho dimenticato gli 8 gradi di Roma e mi sono immaginata a piedi nudi, ad inizio estate in aperta campagna... Sensazione splendida.

Con il secondo look mi son sentita invece come una attrice protagonista dei primi film a colori magari in attesa di un treno che la porti dal suo grande amore.

Abito in velluto, sempre taglio sartoriale, fine anni '70 con manica a sbuffo e lunghezza, tipica di quegli anni, sopra la caviglia.

Tanto oro per i gioielli; orecchini Lisner thermo set made in Usa '50, collana e  bracciale Givenchy anni '80 ed un set di quattro bracciali francesi anni '30 e '40.

Le scarpe sono la chicca dell'intero outfit: delle décollete verdi tacco medio degli anni '80 prodotte da una pelletteria artigianale italiana.

Questa esperienza particolare mi ha confermato che se cercate l'eccellenza dei capi vintage a Roma non potete evitare di fare un salto all'Urban Market Mercato Monti.

Hotel. For such a special day , I was invited by the kind Valentina DéjàVu Vintagepedia to wear for a photo shoot her jewelry and vintage accessories. Thanks to Valentina I met  Alessandro Gruttadauria and Melissa Piro of Umamivintage, with their clothes and shoes I chose for my shooting a full vintage style. For the first look, it was love at first sight for the dress tailored blue silk with flowers and small details in lace 40s. For jewelry I chose to clip earrings corolla American '40s, a 3-wire chain necklace made ​​in France '60s and a bracelet watch with retractable French 40s. For a moment I forgot the 8 degrees of Rome and I imagined me barefoot, in early summer in open countryside... With the second look, I felt instead as a leading actress of the first film in color maybe waiting for a train to take her from her great love. Velvet dress, always tailoring, from the late '70s with puff sleeves and length, typical of those years, above the ankle. So much gold for jewelry, earrings made ​​in the USA Lisner thermo September 50, necklace and bracelet Givenchy 80s and a set of four bracelets French '30s and '40s . The shoes are the gem of the whole outfit: green Décollete of medium heel 80s produced by an Italian leather goods. This particular experience has taught me that if you look for the excellence of the vintage pieces in Rome you can not avoid making a jump at the Urban Market Market Monti.
