knitted hat for a cold sunny day

Provate anche voi a farvi cascare qualcosa dall'armadio...poi spazio all'inventiva!!

Create an outfit starting with the hat.  This also happens when opening the closet, now overloaded with clothing and accessories, the first thing that I find in my hands is the knitted hat that I adore so much, entirely handmade and has become musthave season.
From this "fluffy incident" I decided to wear it and, thanks to the sunny day, I paired with my trusty leather biker jacket, a warm sweater with a coarse texture, a skater skirt with tulle and instead of following the traditional rules that they would like the bikers for this type of look, opt for the animal print sneakers (previously worn HERE) personalized with my name that really does not go unnoticed. This is the proof that the success of a good outfit does not necessarily have to start with the dress.  Try it yourself to make something fall from the closet ... then be creative!

must have: beanie hat!

I well remember when i was in elementary school and my mom holding out this large object of wool and slipped it on my head and it had to protect me from the cold winter days but I hated it deeply. Who would have thought that years later would instead become a must have in my wardrobe and in that of many it girl . I'm talking about the beanie hat aka caps made of cotton or wool. Already last year, we had some inkling of what is now a real trend. While in the past the cap only served to shelter from frost , ruining millions of masses in the fold , it is now a real fashion accessory that emphasize all kinds of looks , making them sophisticated , unique and outside the box. Suitable then with skinny jeans , sweaters and boots but also for those who want to try, with dresses and skirts, chic and ultra feminine. You can also stealing it from the drawer of your partner or brother because with that extra measure, the result is Very Cool. In spite of the worst weather forecast for the next few months we will know how to protect us and be super cute and trendy.

Like a Folk Girl

Musa ispiratrice è stata Julia Stone, cantante australiana folk blues.

"..The story is different now, the records are playing in the living room.."

The recent days uncertain weather and the mood of the music I listen staying at home, away from the noise of my job, inspired this new outfit. My muse was Julia Stone, Australian folk blues singer. Her style goes from hippie to rock to boho-chic. She, like me, loves the big bangs, decorations in hair, long skirts down to feet and wide-brimmed hats. Listening to her songs I created a look that could be ideal for the first outdoor music festival or a meeting with a friend, perhaps in a literary cafe ... between a cappuccino and a coffee.
